Coaches Office. Offseason 06:
Eric Mangini sat at his desk silently. He had to make a good team to stay in this town. He needed a championship. and he needed time to do it. His team right now was old and tired. They put in little effort, and played horrible. He needed new players to revitalize this team. He had many holes, and no way to fix them. The biggest was at runningback. C - Mart had retired in the ofseason, and was now the Offensive Co-ordinator. David Barrett did the same for the defense. Then Mangini came up with an ingenious plan. He was to trade his players for raw talent. And make a team that would be the best. He told the owner, who agreed. It was go time.

The New York Times Newspaper:
Today the Jets have done what was considered unthinkable in the modern NFL. They have traded and released more than half of the team, for players who have not even started a game. The result is questionable, and some loyal fans are angered by the move. The Idea was formulated by new Head Coach, Eric Mangini. He better hope this crazy plan works, or he may be gone soon. The team, which was picked to not make the playoffs this year by many, underwent these changes last friday. The commisioner did not comment on the changes, and did not answer phone calls. |

Overveiw
Drill 1: Rushing Attack
Participant: Maurice J - D
Maurice was explosive threw each level of this drill, and at times looked like LT. He was spinning threw tackles, and break the defenders ankles. Half the time he was trying to high jump the defenders too. He set up his blocking, and when it wasnt available he did it himself. On one play he broke two tackles, and leaped over a defender on his way to the endzone. He was making moves all over the place.

Drill 2: Trench Fight
Participant: Gabe Watson
Gabe did well, but had trouble with the first defender, which resulted in him gaining nothing from the drill. The next two defenders on the drill took naps on the ground, when he was done.
Drill 3: Catch Ball
Participant: Bernard Berrian
B Squared did great early, but as the drill progressed he lost focus, and dropped easy catches. He mistimed Jumps, which resulted in him getting of track. He pulled it together late, and the drill was positive for him. He was fast.

I didn't do any other Drills |
