Sportcenter Trey Wingo: Hello and welcome to Sportscenter, with our special Draft edition Mel Kiper: Yes Trey, tonight we will look at some of the Draft choices in this years Trey Wingo: Yes, and we will start off by talking about Reggie Bush Mel Kiper: Coming out of USC, Reggie Bush looks like he'll be the first overall Draft Pick Trey Wingo: Yea last year Buch did lots with the USC team, and that incredible speed, like seriously, is this guy human Mel Kiper: That's True, but speaking of speed, check out Vince Young, he also did lots for the Texas Longhorns, he's a top 5 pick no doubt Trey Wingo: Yea for a QB, he is fast, maybe he is the next Micheal Vick Mel Kiper: I would have no doubt Trey Wingo: Well one player that won't go high, but did put up great numbers last year, is the Halfback Tristan Lewis Mel Kiper: Yea out of Syracuse, he should be something, great speed, and can break those tackles any day. Sportscenter Trey Wingo: Hello folks and welcome to Sportcenter Mel Kiper: Today we will see who won between Toronto Maple Leafs and the Edminton Oilers Trey Wingo: But first we will talk a little about todays game between the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons Mel Kiper: I believe that the key players to watch tonight are Steve Smith, Jake Delhomme, Michael Vick, and Tristan Lewis Trey Wingo: Tristan Lewis making his Regular season debut today Mel Kiper: Predicted score 14-10 For Atlanta Trey Wingo: Anyways time for commercial, when we come back, Mike Modano, Joe Sakic, Fight, who won? Pre Game - Locker Room Tristan was sitting in the locker room, awaiting for the game to start. He put up alright numbers in the Pre Season, but now it really mattered, now everything mattered. Suddenly Mike Wahle walked over to Tristan " Hey Tristan, you ready, big game for you ", Mike Asked " Yea I'm good, I know we can win this, I know I can do good also ", Tristan Answered " Alright, I'll do my best to block for you ", Mike Said, as he started walking backwards. Once Mike had left Tristan, the Coach came out of his office. " Alright boys, huddle up ", The Coach Requested Everyone stoof and walked over and stood around the coach. " Panthers on 3, 1,2,3 PANTHERS ", Everyone Yelled, like warriors Everyone ran out onto the Field, cheering and ready for the season opener, Tristan was especially excited. Next post is game

Carolina Vs Atlanta First drive of the game, Michael Vick shows his legs and runs a 78 Yard Touchdown on a Bootleg. Carolina would then get no where on their first drive of the game. So back to Atlanta. But Atlanta wouldn't do anything, so back to Carolina the ball goes. Carolina would make a huge logn drive based on their running game, but only settle for a Field Goal. So to Atlanta. Michael Vick went down early in the drive, and left the Field. Atlanta wouldn't get the first so back to Carolina it goes. End Of 1st Quarter Score 7-3 For Atlanta Carolina on 3rd down would just come short of the First down, so back to Atlanta the ball goes. But Carolinas defense would own Atlanta, and Carolina would get it back. But Atlanta would hold Carolina, and Carolina would punt it back. Vick is now back, but he throws an interception that goes back for a Touchdown, after the play was done, Michael Vick limped off the Field, as he was injured again. Atlanta then can't do anything so back to Carolina. Carolina would go down Field and top it off with a Touchdown pass to Tristan Lewis, for Tristans first ever Touchdown. Atlanta would get down Field, but have to settle for a Field Goal, and not a Touchdown. End Of 2nd Quarter Score 17-10 For Carolina Carolina would get the ball at half, and get a couple First Downs, but they still ended up punting. So to Atlanta the ball goes. But Carolinas defense shows what they can do, and they stop Shaub and the Atlanta offense. Carolina though would get no where and have to punt back, anyone see a pattern? Well the Pattern ends, Shaub throws a 52 Yard Touchdown pass to Dunn, to tie it up. Atlanta would then force the Panthers to Punt. Atlanta once again would do nothing, and have to punt it back. Jake Delhomme would then on the next drive throw an Interception that goes back for a Touchdown. End Of 3rd Quarter Score 24-17 For Atlanta Carolina would have the ball going into the 4th, but also be trailing. They would get no where so they were forced to punt it. But Atlanta would get nothing going and give it right back. Carolina would hold the ball for awhile but still have to attempt a Field Goal, and John Kasay would miss. But once again Atlanta would do nothing and punt it back. Carolina would try one last drive to tie it up, but fall short as 2 kneels would give Atlanta the win. Locker Room - After Game Tristan was getting his equipment off, when all of a sudden a reporter came over to him. " Tristan Lewis, you had a pretty good first game, with that one Touchdown catch, how do you feel ", The Lady Asked while holding a tape recorder. " Well, we lost didn't we, so I don't feel good, my preformance was alright, 83 Yards, and yes a Touchdown ", Tristan Answered " I see, well how would you rate Jake Delhommes preformance today ", She Asked " I'd say he did good, he tried his best, and that's all we ask ", Tristan Answered Again " Hmmm, well do you think anyone on your team did a bad job ", The Lady Asked Tristan turned to look at the area of the Locker Room, where the whole Offensive Line was sitting, he thought they could have done better, but oh well, he didn't want to cause trouble. " No I'd say we all did good, it's just Atlanta did great, and for a back up, Shaub played a great game ", Answered Tristan. " Ok, thank you for your time ", The Lady Said. The Reporter walked away but before she left, she stopped at another player, it was Jake Delhomme. Tristan didn't pay attention. He got finished taking his equipment off, and hit the showers. Once he was done in the shower, he headed for the Hotel, he drove a nice little BMW, silver paint job, indeed it was a nice car. Once he got to the hotel, he ate his dinner at the Restaurant, and went straight to bed, he was tired.

Monday Night Tristan was in his hotel room, watching some Monday Night Football, when all of a sudden his stomach growled. Tristan was hungry, he needed food. So Tristan grabbed his jacket, and went down to the Hotel Restaurant. Once Tristan got there he looked around to see if any of his team mates were their, therefore he would have someone to sit with. He took a quick glance around, and saw his Coach, John Fox, sitting near the corner. Tristan walked over. " Hey John ", Tristan Greeted John looked up from the book he was reading. " Hey Tristan, how are you ", John Asked " I'm alright, mind if I sit ", Asked Tristan " Not at all ", John Answered Tristan sat down " So Coach, we did pretty good yesterday, I mean even though we lost, we all played good still " " Very true, you had a good Rookie game also, if you had just a couple more carries, you would have had 100 yards " Tristan smiled, he wanted that 100 so badly yesterday, not every rookie gets over 100 yards rushing in their first game " But hey, not everyone does ", John Told Tristan Tristan nodded. Tristan was about to say something, but a waiter had come over, so he'd thought he'd wait till after he left. " My I take your order ", The Waiter Asked The waiter was a handsome young guy, short black hair, had muscle, looked about 28 years old, around there. " Uhhh yes, I'll take the salmon, with a side order of potatos, and for a drink, I guess I'll have uhhh some wine ", John Answered What a classy order Tristan thought. " And you sir ", The waiter Asked Tristan Tristan grabbed the menu and took a quick look, he didn't have a chance to check once he got there, because he started talking to John Fox, right away. " Ummm, yea, I'll have the Salmon too, but with a side order of Salad and took drink, a Root Beer ", Tristan Answered " Very Well ", The Waiter then walked off Tristan turned back to John Fox. " Anyways I'd say we all had a good game, but that run by Vick, put us in hot water, if not for that, we could have won ", John Told Tristan " Agreed ", Answered Tristan " Anyways, enough about Football, so are you Married Tristan ", John Asked " Nope, I thought if I was going to go into the NFL, I shouldn't get involved with anyone ", Tristan Answered " In away, that's smart ", John Said " Here is your dinner ", The waiter returned, and this time with our food. " Thank You ", John Said " Yes, Thank You ", Tristan Also Said The waiter then walked away. The rest of the night went pretty normal for Tristan, he spent most of it eaten his dinner and talking with John Fox, about football, family, even hockey, John likes Jarome Iginla, and Tristan likes Saku Koivu,but all in all, t'was a good night, and once dinner was over, Tristan went straight to bed, ready for Sunday's Game. Sportcenter Trey Wingo: Hello and welcome to Sportscenter Mel Kiper: Today we will look at some of the NFL games going on, but first Carolina Vs Minnesota Trey Wingo: This one will be close no doubt Mel Kiper: Key Players are Steve Smith, Jake Delhomme, Tristan Lewis, Chester Taylor, and Brad Johnson Trey Wingo: Predicted score, 24-21 For Carolina Mel Kiper: Yea this one is going down right to the last minute Trey Wingo: Anyways, we have to go to commercial, but when we come back, we will be taking a look at how the Bengals injuries are hurting them Pre Game - Locker Room Tristan was getting ready for the game against the Vikings, he had his mind on this game and nothing else, he was ready, and ready he was. He looked around the Room, almost everyone was done getting ready. John Fox then came out of his Office, to do the pump up speech. " Alright guys, this one is important, we are 0-1, we need this win ", John screamed " Now lets go out there, and kick their ass ", John Yelled Everyone ran into the tunnel, awaiting time to go out onto the Field, they had been waiting for this all day, and finally it's here, finally they get to dominate the Vikings. Carolina Vs Minnesota Carolina would get the ball first, and then drive down to the Vikings 31 Yard Line, and top the drive off with a 31 Yard Touchdown run by Tristan Lewis. Minnesota with the ball now, can do nothing, and throw an Interception, so back to Carolina it goes. But on 3rd Down, Jake Delhomme would throw an interception, so back to Vikings. Minnesota would get down Field but only walk away with a Field Goal. 1st Play of the drive, and Delhomme goes down, his injury is To Be Announced, without him the Panthers would get no where and have to punt. Vikings wouldn't be able to get a first down so they punt it back. End Of 1st Quarter Score 7-3 For Carolina Delhommes back, but he won't help, as Panthers can't convert on 3rd down. So back to Minnesota. Minnesota would fumble the ball on their first play, and Panthers would pick it up, but Minnesota would challenge, so it's still Vikings ball. Minnesota would get down Field and score a 2 Yard Touchdown run. Carolina would then fail to do anything so with under 2 minutes left, the ball goes back to Minnesota. Minnesota would get down Field but get stopped on 3rd down, so they attempt a 55 Yard Field Goal, and make it. Right before half though, John Kasay would get a 54 Yard Field Goal, coming off a big drive from Carolina. End Of 2nd Quarter Score 13-10 For Minnesota Minnesota would get the ball first, by the time they get to mid Field, Brad Johnson goes down, and he would leave the Field. Minnesota would fail on 3rd down, leaving Longwell, to get a 54 Yard Field Goal. Carolina would get no where and have to punt once again. Next Drive Minnesota would get a 68 Yard Touchdown Pass to up their lead. But Carolina would answer back, on their first play of the Drive they do a Halfback Toss, and Tristan Lewis goes 76 Yards for his 2nd Touchdown run of the game. With Brad Johson back in the game, Minnesota would not get a First Down, and have to punt. Carolina would get down Field, and then Tristan Lewis would have a big run, but Holding was on the play, and because of that Penalty, Carolina can't do anything and is forced to punt. End Of 3rd Quarter Score 23-17 For Minnesota To start off the 4th, Minnesota would not be able to convert on 3rd Down, giving the ball back to Carolina. Carolina would get no where, but attempt to get a First Down on 4th Down, and not do it, so back to Vikings. Minnesota would charge downfield, but only come away with a Field Goal. So to Carolina now, 2nd Play of the Drive, is an Interception thrown by Jake Delhomme, which goes back to about the Panthers 10. But would only walk away with a Field Goal, Longwell haveing a big day at Kicker for the Vikings. Carolina then would not be able to do anything, so one Kneel and games over. Locker Room - After Game Tristan was surrounded by reporters, all asking him about his big game. Tristan really didn't want to answer anything, but he decided to. " Tristan how about that game, you did great, any Comments on it ", A Lady Asked. " Uhh yea, I thought I had a good game, but most of it came from the offensive line ", Answered Tristan. Tristan was almost out of all his equipment " Tristan, how do you feel about you having a big game, but you guys still losing ", Another Girl Asked Tristan wanted to say what was on his mind, the Defense sucked, that was it, they were horrible, but he couldn't say that, or else he'd be the next T.O. " We tried our best, that's all, just once again, the other team did better ", Answered Tristan. " Alright everyone, I got to hit the showers, no more Questions ", Tristan Told Everyone When Tristan started to walk towards the showers, the reporters still followed him, asking him more questions, but Tristan didn't answer, they finally left once he went into the showers, they weren't aloud in there. Tristan took his shower, and then headed for the Hotel, the Carolina Panthers were 0-2, and Tristan was not happy, not at all. But he would get some sleep, and maybe next game they will win. But as for tomorrow, it was practice day.

Monday Night Tristan was watching Monday Night Football in his hotel room, it was a pretty good game, things tied up, overtime maybe, but Tristan got distracted. He couldn't stop thinking about the game he just had. 2 Big runs, loads of yards, probably one of the best Rookie games ever. Sure he was proud, but he never told anyone. Tristan was just about to fall asleep, when all of a sudden, someone knocked on his door. Tristan stood, walked over, and opened it. Standing infront of his door, was a girl. Age was probably 24, blonde hair, skinny, white dress shirt, she was beautifal. " Hi Tristan Lewis, I'm Lacey James, I'm a reporter, may I interview you ", She Asked Great another reporter who wanted to interview him, they were even at his practice, waiting for him to come out from the locker room, and talk to them. " I'm the writer for the Carolina Period, it's a newspaper in Carolina ", She Told Tristan " Well, I guess you could interview me ", Tristan Answered Tristan pretty much only let her interview him, because she was hot, very hot. " Ok, Thanks ", Lacey Walked into Tristans room " So what yea want to know ", Tristan Asked. " Well I want to know --- Ring, Ring, Ring ", Lacey's Phone was going off Lacey picked it up, and answered it " Hello, Yes sir, right now, darnit, yea I can do it, alright bye ", Lacey Said as she was on the phone Lacey couldn't get many words in, who ever was on the other side of the phone, talked fast, and was bossy, from what it sounded like. " I'm really sorry but I got to go, there has been something big, and my boss wants me on it, but we'll do this soon, don't worry ", Lacey Explained Tristan nodded, and walked Lacey to the door, she then left from his view. One of the most beautiful girls he has ever seen. He was going to use this interview to get to know her, but sadly she had to go. Oh well he thought though, she will be back to do the Interview, and he will get to know her then. Tristan yawned then headed for bed, he was tired, life as a Football player was hard, indeed it was.

" Hey Tristan, I want to talk to you ", Jake Said " Yea, What is it ", Asked Tristan " Were probably going to keep it to the throwing game today, so don't get mad if you don't have loads of carries ", Jake Said Tristan knew it, Jake was jealous, Jake was good but not great, as for Tristan coming out of a huge game, with 181 Yards, Jake just felt jealous " Yea it's cool, I'm down with that ", Tristan Said " Awsome ", Jake then back peddled for about a meter, then turned around and walked over to Steve Smith Tristan finished getting ready, and walked over to the circle " All Right, Winners on 3 ", John Fox Yelled " 1, 2, 3, Winners ", Locker Room went into shouting The whole team ran out onto the field, Tristan especially excited, who cares if he didn't get alot of runs, he'll still get good yards. (0-2-0) Carolina Panthers Vs (1-1-0) Tampa Bay Buccaneers Carolina would get the ball first, they would drive down and John Kasay would help them walk away with atleast 3 Points, to take the lead. Tampa would get to mid Field, but end up having to punt, so back to Carolina the ball goes. But Carolina would fail to even get one 1st down. So back to Tampa. Tampa would fumble though, giving the Panthers good position to score. But Jake Delhomme would throw the ball 3 times in a row, so Carolina only walks away with a Field Goal. End Of 1st Quarter Score 6-0 For Carolina Tampa Bay would do nothing and punt back to Carolina. Due to poor blocking, Tristan Lewis would not be able to do anything on the 2 Carries he got, and Carolina would have to punt. But Tampa would do nothing again, so back to Carolina. Well Carolina would fail again, and back to Tampa it goes. But Tampa with their horrible offense, wont do anything, so back to Carolina. First play is a hand off to Tristan, and he fumbles it. So Tampa deep in Carolina zone. Tampa would only walk away with a Field Goal though. Delhomme would then throw an interception, which goes back to the Panthers 25. But once again they would only walk away with a Field Goal. End Of 2nd Quarter Score 6-6 Tampa would get no where and start the second by punting. Carolina would get down to the Tampa Bay area, but end up Fumbling on a pass behind the line. So Tampa would get it. But carolina would intercept the ball and take it back to Tampas 19. Due to an Offensive Line breakdown, Carolina would only get a Field Goal. Tampa would then do nothing, and have to punt, so back to Carolina. End Of 3rd Quarter Score 9-6 For Carolina Carolina would get down Field, but only come away with a 44 Yard Field Goal. Tampa looked like things were going ok, but Carolina would intercept it again. So back to Carolina. But dumb Delhomme would attempt some crazy pass, and get picked off, so back to Tampa. Carolina would get the ball back, due to Turnover on downs. On 3rd down Tristan Lewis would not be able to get the First Down, making Carolina punt it back to Tampa. On 4th Down, Tampa would fail to convert, giving up the ball on their own 5 Yard Line. Tristan Lewis would then run it in for a 1 Yard Touchdown after 2 Runs by Nick Goings. Carolina would attempt the 2 Point Conversion, and get it by handing it off to Tristan Lewis. Tampa would not be able to convert on 4th Down, giving the ball to Carolina, so they could kneel it, for the win. Final Score 20-6 For Carolina Tristan's Stats: Yards: 138 Attempts: 25 Avg: 5.5 Fumbles: 1 Touchdowns: 1 Key Plays: Tristan's 1 Yard Touchdown Run To Seal The Deal John Kasay's 4 Field Goals

Locker Room - After Game Tristan was being asked questions by everyone, he answered them like an 8 Year Old would answer his Mom, when she asked if he ate any cookies, He Lied. Once everyone was done with their questions, they all left, some went home, some stayed and talked to Jake Delhomme, but about 5 minutes after they left, Lacey appeared. " Hello Tristan, want to do the Interview now ", Lacey Asked " Hey Lacey, yea sure I got time before I hit the showers ", Tristan Answered " Ok ", Lacey Grabbed her notepad and pen, and was ready. " What's it like being a Rookie Halfback for Carolina ", Asked Lacey " Uhhh, Well, it's hard, you are under estimated, and since Carolina is such a passing team, you don't get loads of carries, I was lucky this game to get 25, before the game Jake Delhomme told me I would barely get it, because they were going to stick it to the pass, but we ran it ", Answered Tristan Tristan wasn't sure if he should had said what Jake Delhomme said to him before the game, but he did, and it was too late. " Week after week, you are putting up good numbers, how do you do it ", Lacey Asked " I just do my best, gain as much as I can, which is sometimes, alot of yards ", Tristan Answered Lacey took a minute to write what Tristan said down, Tristan took that time to admire her beauty, she was an angel. " One more question, I don't got much time, Playing behind the Carolina O-Line, is it good or bad ", This one was tough for Tristan, he put up great numbers due to great blocks, but he also had been breaking loads of tackles, some that shouldn't have even been there. " It's alright, sometimes a defender will break through, but they are pretty solid, I mean every O-Line messes up, but these guys are solid ", Tristan Lied Again, he wasn't going to bad mouth his team, it was bottled inside of him, he was like a shooken up Pepsi, he was ready to explode, and say what he really thought. " Ok, thank you, here's my card, if you ever want to do another interview, just call my number ", Lacey handed Tristan the card. Lacey said bye to Tristan then walked away, and left the stadium. All Tristan could think about was, I Got a Number, I Got a Number, he was happy, but still, he doubt she would date him. Tristan grabbed his towel and hit the showers.
