Background Information
Everyone who isn't bias and follows the NFL, knows that Terence Newman has developed into a very good cornerback during his NFL stay. But what alot of people fail to realize is he has a younger brother who is just about to enter the 2007 NFL Draft. Thats right, Sean Newman, has pretty much been overlooked his entire life. When scouts came to highschool games, it was for Terence. When coaches called, it was for Terence. So on and so forth, Sean has always been overshadowed by his big brother. Hell, the only reason he got a scholarship was because Terence begged the Dean of Admissions to accept him. Well Sean was sick of it. He looked up to his brother and was very fond of him, but he wanted to make a name for himself. He impressed scouts at NFL Pre-Draft Workouts and really jumped up the board. But what really shocked everyone, and even Sean himself, was his ability to catch the ball. Sean had been a 4 year starting cornerback at Kansas State, but the NFL Scouts persuaded him into working out with the wide receivers. Boy did it pay off. Sean jumped from being a 6th round hopeful to a first day priority. With the draft nearing, Sean knew he was going to have to do everything in his power to get in touch with as many teams as possible. He knew how the business worked and if he didnt get his ass in gear, he'd be biting his nails as the 7th round begun, hoping to be picked. When the draft day finally arrived, Sean sat at home with his brother Terence eagerly awaiting to hear his name...
